How to Specify C11000 Copper Sheet for Procurement

Copper sheet selection is rarely a dimension-only decision. For switchgear and grounding parts, material designation, temper, thickness and flatness affect subsequent cutting, stamping and assembly. Hole patterns, edge conditions and surface protection should therefore be reviewed together with the current drawing revision before quotation.

When C11000, C10200, T2 or TU1 designations appear in the same sourcing program, the applicable standard system and required material documentation should be stated on the purchase requirement. This keeps material identity, inspection criteria, batch marking and shipment documents aligned.

Selection logic

Confirm application, grade and temper first, then thickness, width/length, cut size, drawing tolerance and surface expectations.

Processing hand-off

Shearing, film protection, deburring and drawing dimensions should be controlled under the same order revision.

Inspection focus
