Custom Copper Alloy Profile

Section drawing · Cut length · Small-batch machining

For conductive rails, mechanical guides, fixture parts and other non-standard sections. Custom copper-alloy profile sourcing should start from a section drawing or sample, then establish alloy grade and geometry before tooling feasibility, cut length, section tolerance, straightness, surface, quantity and lead-time review.

BUYING NOTES

Custom Copper Alloy Profile: Start From the Section Drawing, Not a Stock Name

Non-standard copper profiles usually cannot be replaced by a generic stock size. Conductive rails, mechanical guides and fixture parts are defined by the section and downstream assembly, so the RFQ should provide a section drawing or clear sample information and state the required C11000, C18150, C36000 or project-specific grade together with critical section dimensions.

After manufacturability is reviewed, quotation should also cover tooling or die feasibility, minimum order considerations, cut length, straightness, section tolerance, surface condition and any sawing or straightening. Drawing revision, sample approval and volume production should remain on the same technical baseline.

Drawing first

Provide a section drawing or sample reference and lock alloy grade, critical geometry and drawing revision rather than substituting a similar stock profile.

Manufacturability

Review tooling feasibility, section tolerance, straightness, cut length, surface and any sawing/straightening before production release.

Volume conditions

Align quantity, minimum-order/tooling conditions, first-piece approval and lead time, then keep volume production on the approved technical baseline.
